Dr. Susan Travis, DDS
I began working at the Community Dental Center in 2011. Over the years, nothing has brought me more happiness than changing a child's smile. Giving children the knowledge and tools to maintain a healthy smile is our focus, and I am so lucky to be a part of that. I have the best staff and patients! When not fighting cavities, I enjoy cooking, hiking with my husband and dreaming about Walt Disney World.
I started working for the Community Dental Center in May of 2012. I love the kids and knowing that we are making a huge difference in the lives of thousands of children and families. I also love working with such a positive and fun staff! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons mountain biking, hiking or just relaxing with a good book.
I have been working at the Community Dental Center since August of 2012 and I am a Certified Dental Assistant. I love working with children and helping to make their smile brighter. The staff is great and I love how we work together as a team to help the community.
Spanish Interpreter/Dental Assistant
I began working at the Community Dental Center in August of 2015 after graduating from Monticello High School where I attended the CATEC program for dental assistants. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and I work as a translator, dental assistant and I help with scheduling and other duties when needed. I love to keep busy and help people as much as I can! I have a beautiful daughter who is the light of my life and enjoy spending my free time playing soccer with her and going for walks in the park.
Lead Dental Assistant
I have been working with the Community Dental Center since 2008. I worked at another dental clinic before coming to the Dental Center. The staff is like my second family. What I enjoy most about working for the clinic is seeing the beautiful smiles on all our patients' faces and knowing that we took part in creating them. I have been in the dental field for eight years. I have an energetic teenage son and I am currently attending PVCC for the sonography program.
I have been working as a Dental Assistant since the year 2006. I began my journey here at the Community Dental Center in 2013. I am very grateful to work for a non-profit organization that is here to help the community. To be able to offer those services and work with a team that is considered family makes life good! Working with children has always been my passion. I have two beautiful daughters of my own, Kiersten and Kaidance, who are an inspiration to me every single day. My goal is to turn those frowns upside down because a SMILE is the prettiest thing you will ever wear!
